Chicago: HOB

BG and Karen invited us to join them and other friends and family staying at the hotel to brunch on Saturday at the House of Blues. We met up in the lobby, and A was ecstatic to see his buddy Kaylin again.

Conveniently, the HOB was just across the street from the hotel, so we hoofed it over.

Alex only sat still in his chair for about 1.5 seconds before getting restless, so he made his way around the table before ending up on the laps of the bride and groom.

He was especially enamored with the drum set, and we kept having to drag him away before he tried to lay down a face-melting drum solo.

Of course, no meal is complete without a performance by our very own dance troupe. Conveniently, HOB comes with its own soundtrack, so the kids boogied down until it was time to go.
