I forgot to mention that the nurse Alex saw yesterday also said he was really good at "tripoding", whatever that is. Tim said it was basically creating a tripod with his body, which I guess is the first step towards sitting up - the more upright he can keep his body, the better. So this morning, when he was doing what I thought might be some kind of a tripod maneuver, I took a quick pic to catch it. Hopefully he is well on his way to sitting for real, but for now we are just proud of this sorta kinda "tripod" stuff...

thats it! I noticed that this weekend. Put a pillow behind him with his hands between his legs......that'll make him work harder, and increase his shoulder/trunk stability.....he needs the exercise :-) (side note: it also works on his developing righting reactions) ok I'm done now!!
