A sprinkle a day

I don't know how we lived without a yard for this long. Sure, the park is great and all, and for the love, Dallas has dozens of nice parks to choose from, but there's something to be said for being able to step out your front door into the fresh air and green grass.

Of course, Alex is loving spending so much time outside. He's especially fond of the street, the flower beds, and the stairs. Sigh. Par for the course. But when he starts to get antsy around 5:30 and his daddy won't get home for another thirty minutes, the fresh air does us all some good.

Our front yard has lush grass that needs to be watered daily, and on Thursday, Alex had his first accidental encounter with the sprinkler.

Good times. We're thinking about exploring the back yard next. I'll let you know how that goes.
