Nope, Not Yet...

Sorry folks, no baby yet. We found out this morning that I am at 1 cm and 50% effaced, and although Mari was encouraged by the progress, she was still hesitant to induce when we are still this far out. Timothy and I are especially reluctant to rush things because, since the beginning, we have thought that his due date is actually a week later than what the hospital has been calculating. That said, we would like to give the little guy the benefit of the doubt and assume that he is still right on time and not at all stubborn or lazy as it may seem.

Long story short: We have decided to schedule another appointment for Thursday a.m. to check things out and decide whether we feel comfortable scheduling the induction for Thursday afternoon or Friday. With luck, I will continue to progress and we won't make it to Thursday morning...
