Keep it funky, Corn Dog

Here's this weekend in a nutshell...

Auntie L arrived last night around 7:45. This morning, Auntie L went fishing and caught an Alex.

Really, Auntie L likes to use Alex as a guinea pig for her fancy O.T. equipment, like this new portable net swing. A wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first, but then he started to get the "hang" of it...

Since Alex's chunky butt didn't bring the swing down, Auntie L figured it was safe for her to try it out for herself.

I had to make a dreaded Walmart run, so I left A with Auntie L around 8 to beat the Saturday rush.

I came back for lunch, then we decided to get A ready for the day. He complained that his room was stinky, that it smelled like poo, and that he couldn't tolerate it for a second longer. I reminded him that he had no one to blame but himself, but I did let him open the window to let some fresh air in.

I left again to finally get the massage that my sister and brother got me for my birthday...in September. The massage was amazing and I determined that I need another one, like, every minute of every day. But I was even more anxious to get home and see what Auntie L and Alex were up to. Here's what they did while I was gone...

A is in dire need of clothes and shoes (pshah!!), so this afternoon, we ran around town trying to find him some. He didn't mind being chauffeured around the mall. And who would? Here he is, kicked back with a beverage while we, his personal shoppers, try expensive shoes on his feet and wait for his nod of approval.

He fancies himself quite the stud, and he felt that some aviator shades were necessary to complete his look. Luckily, his Auntie L agreed and these glasses came home with us.

After a long day of fun and shopping, A was pooped and ready for bed, as were Leah and I. Poor Auntie L has to leave at the crack of dawn tomorrow, by 6:30am. That being the case, I figure tomorrow will be the morning that A decides to sleep 'til 8...
